Included among the treasures of New England are the various organized efforts designed to improve communities. One such effort is HousEART, designed to be a community-wide transformative art project connecting artists with neighborhood volunteers in order to bring life and color to foreclosed, vacant houses.
An initiative of the Smith Hill Community Development Corporation in Providence, RI, its work is now extending to Woonsocket.
