The National Trust for Historic Preservation recently announced their 2012 Great American Main Street Awards winners. The five winners, including Bath, ME, were recognized for their exceptional accomplishments in preserving and revitalizing America’s historic Main Street commercial districts.
Main Street Bath was honored for helping the “City of Ships” evolve into Maine’s “cool little city” by strengthening locally-owned businesses, promoting a rich calendar of events, and highlighting its shipbuilding heritage.
