Independence Day Parades

As part of the celebration of our nation’s birthday/independence, a number of parades (and other celebrations) are planned throughout the New England region throughout this week. These parades include the following (which are scheduled for the holiday, Independence Day, itself:

• The Thomaston Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration (“Once Upon a Time..."), Thomaston, ME
• The Plymouth 4th of July Parade (“Imagine”), Plymouth, MA
• The Wakefield Fourth of July Parade (“Celebrate America”), Wakefield, MA
• The 4th of July Parade, Ashland, NH
• The Independence Day Parade (“Welcome Home Our Returning Troops!”), Wolfeboro, NH
• Fourth of July Parade, Bristol, RI
• 86th Annual 4th of July Ancients and Horribles Parade, Glocester, RI
• 43rd Annual 4th of July Celebration, Colchester, VT
• 4th of July Parade (“Books Come Alive”), Poultney, VT
