Today the Church celebrates the memory of Blessed Angela Truszkowska, one of the founders of the Felician Sisters, also known as the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Felix of Cantalice.
Over the years, I have had the blessing of working with a number of Felician Sisters at Saint Adalbert’s Parish in Providence, RI, and elsewhere, and I have a tremendous respect for their spirituality and their compassionate service and concern for the people entrusted to them. They are indeed a blessing. Thank you, Lord.
