On Saturday (7 September), millions of people around the world responded to Pope Francis’ call for a day of prayer and fasting for peace in Syria and around the world.
Among the related activities was a five-hour prayer vigil at Saint Peter’s Square, during which Pope Francis spoke about achieving reconciliation and peace.
