Another New England public safety servant recently died in the line
of duty, again a reminder of the hazards and stresses faced by the
members of the region’s emergency services.
Firefighter Kevin L. Bell, 48, of the Hartford, CT, Fire Department
(Engine Company 16) was killed in the line of duty while fighting a two
alarm fire at 598 Blue Hills Avenue on Tuesday, 7 October. May he rest
in peace.
