Recently Released Plan Focuses on Environmental Quality of Long Island Sound

Save the Sound, a Connecticut-based environmental group working to improve the environmental quality of Long Island Sound, recently released a report, Sound Vision, containing a plan to improve the quality of Long Island Sound over the next decade.

The report focuses on four goals:

  • protecting clean water to achieve a healthy sound,
  • creating safe and thriving places for all sound creatures,
  • building Long Island Sound communities that work, and
  • investing in an economically vibrant Long Island Sound.
