National Groundwater Awareness Week

This week, the week of 10-16 March, is being observed as National Groundwater Awareness Week. It is an annual observance established to highlight the responsible development, management, and use of groundwater.

This year’s theme, "Think," was designed to urge consideration of various ways we can protect our most valuable natural resource.

As part of this week’s observance, the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) is encouraging yearly water well testing and well maintenance.
