One of the treasures of New England is the various church festivals that are held, especially from late spring through early autumn. A good example of such a festival is the Saint Adalbert's Polish-American Festival being held this weekend on the church grounds, 866 Atwells Avenue in Providence, RI.
As part of appropriate disclosure, I have worked at the festival a number of times while I was a member of the parish. My son, Tom, is currently one of the festival co-chairs.
