Recently, actor Tim Daly served as commencement speaker at Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont. Mr. Daly is a 1979 graduate of Bennington, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre.
One of Mr. Daly's best-known roles was that of Joe Hackett, in the NBC comedy, Wings. Wings, which ran from 1990 t0 1997, was a sitcom that took place in Nantucket, Massachusetts. In the show, Joe Hackett and his brother ran Sandpiper Air, a small airline running out of "Tom Nevers Field"
