A wind-driven three-alarm fire destroyed two homes and heavily damage two others along Humarock Beach in Scituate, MA, on Thursday, 8 March. The fire originated at 111 Humarock Beach Front and spread to 109 and 112 Humarock Beach Front and 24 Webster Street.
The initial alarm was struck shortly at approximately 1350 hours. The Scituate Fire Department was assisted by companies from Abington, Cohasset, Duxbury, Hingham, Marshfield, Norwell, and Rockland. Four firefighters suffered minor injuries.
