Msgr. Pope on the Presence of God in Our Lives

“Most of us experience from time to time that God seems distant. . . . Recently I came across a dialogue from an unknown source wherein a monk speaks to a saintly and wise abbot about his struggle to experience God, about the fact that God seems distant. . .”

In a recent commentary, Monsignor Charles Pope (pastor of Holy Comforter-Saint Cyprian Parish, Washington, DC) reflected on the presence of God in our lives, whether we are aware of Him or not.
