This week, the week of 16-22 September, is being observed as National Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Week. Many communities in this region have staff members serving in one of the branches of the Armed Forces Reserves and in the National Guard, and the support by their communities makes it easier for these service members to carry out their commitment to the nation.
