Today, the first Wednesday of November, is being observed as National Stress Awareness Day, an observance designed to "to raise awareness, publicity and profile of
stress and its impact, and reduce stigma while promoting the importance
of well-being and stress reduction for individuals and organizations." The theme for 2018 is "Does Hi-Tech cause Hi-Stress?" - a theme designed to "look at the negatives and positives of the lifestyle that
aspects of computers, internet, and automation have brought."
A Stress Awareness Day thought starter from the City of Framingham, MA: "Feeling a bit stressed today? Maybe change up your routine. Nice day for
a walk, get some fresh air. Change up your ride and try to avoid the
construction delays!"
