This school year is drawing to a close here in New England. Unfortunately, over the years a number of Catholic schools in the region have closed for various reasons (mostly related to finances). One of these schools was Saint Adalbert's School in Providence, RI. Each of my children started their school career there (Upon its closing, they were enrolled in Saint Patrick school, also in Providence.). The young man on the right is son Tom early in his school career:
