A New England public servant servant recently died in the line of duty, a reminder of the hazards and stresses faced by the members of the region’s public safety services.
Officer Enmanuel “Manny” Familia, 30, a five year veteran of the Worcester, MA, Police Department, died during rescue operations while attempting to assist a drowning fourteen year old male.
