This week, the week of 16-22 April, is being observed as National Volunteer Week. No matter how many employees (full- or part-time) it may have, each community in this region relies on volunteers to carry a number of responsibilities to ensure that the community functions well. National Volunteer Week is designed as a time to inspire, recognize, and encourage people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities.
