Nothing we do in this life is more important and all of the good we are to do must flow from an ever-deepening life of prayer and love of God.”

This week, the week of 6-10 February, is National School Counseling Week. This year’s theme is "School Counselors: Helping Students Be Brilliant."
National School Counseling Week, which is sponsored by the American School Counselor Association, is an initiative designed to focus public attention on the unique contribution of professional school counselors within U.S. school systems. The week’s activities focus on highlighting the impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.

A fire heavily damaged an unoccupied former lumber company building at 137 Hart Street in Taunton, MA, on Friday, 3 February.
The initial alarm was transmitted at 2305 hours. Mutual aid was called in from a number of surrounding communities (including Acushnet Norton, Raynham, Rehoboth, Rochester, and Wareham) to assist with battling the blaze.
