Bud Welch, whose daughter, Julie, died in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, recently spoke in Milford, CT, about the death penalty and about how the execution of Timothy McVeigh gave him no peace.
A member of the Cambridge, MA, based Murder Victims’ Families for Human Rights, Mr. Welch related how meeting with Mr. McVeigh father and sister led to a “tremendous weight” being lifted from him.
