New England is a treasure house filled with many different types of spiritual, cultural, historical, and other resources. Included in this treasure trove is a variety of library services. Next week (10-16 April) is National Library Week., and it just so happens that the first free public library was started in 1822 - the Dublin, NH, Juvenile Library. In addition, Peterborough, NH, Town Library, established in 1833, was the first library supported by public taxation.
