A three-alarm fire on Tuesday, 2 August, heavily damaged a one story cinderblock strip mall at 749-755 Boston Post Road in Milford, CT. The shopping plaza had five active businesses, including a tobacco store, a hair salon, an adult bookstore, a barber shop, and a gym.
The initial alarm was transmitted shortly before 2000 hours, and the Milford Fire Dept. was assisted by companies from Stratford and West Haven.
