Cardinal Burke Speaks on Suffering and the Meaning of Life

At Being Faithful, Even Unto Death, a recent conference hosted by the St. Gianna Physician’s Guild addressing the “Culture of Death” as it relates to end of life, Cardinal Raymond Burke, prefect of the Apostolic Signatura, said that suffering does not cause a person to have less meaning in his life. Cardinal Burke also said that suffering does not give the government the right to decide if that person should live or die.
