February is Catholic Press Month, a time to reflect on the value of the Catholic newspapers, magazines, newsletters, books, and blogs and the opportunities they provide to provide Catholic information on current issues and well as a host of other Church related information.
As part of their observance of this month, a number of diocesan periodicals are distributing free issues of their publication in parishes throughout their respective dioceses. This initiative is designed to acquaint potential readers with their diocesan periodicals (newspapers/magazines) and to encourage them to subscribe to the publication.
