In addition to the New England Pond Hockey Festival, there are a number of annual pond hockey events in the New England area.
These events include the Pond Hockey Classic (now in its third year), which is held in two locations: the New England Pond Hockey Classic in New Hampshire the Lake Champlain Pond Hockey Classic at Colchester, VT. The New Hampshire event is usually held at Lake Winnipesaukee, but this year it has been moved to Lake Waukewan in Meredith because the Lake Winnipesaukee ice is not solid enough. The New Hampshire event is being held this weekend (3-5 February), and the Vermont event is scheduled for the weekend of 17-19 February.
There is also the third annual Vermont Pond Hockey Championships, originally scheduled for the weekend of 28-29 January at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee. This event has been rescheduled to the weekend of 11-12 February.
In addition, the New England Hockey Festival, including the Rhode Island Outdoor Hockey Charity Classic, is planned for the weekend of 17-18 March at the Bank of America City Center in Providence, RI.
