As yesterday’s election day approached, there were a number of initiatives by government officials and agencies, faith-based and other nonprofit organizations, businesses, and individual citizens designed to encourage people to take time to vote. Thank you for doing so.
One such initiative was by the Chabaso Bakery in New Haven, CT, which offered free loaves of fresh-baked bread to voters, wearing an “I Voted” sticker, who visited the Atticus Bookstore & Café in downtown New Haven.
