Today is being observed as Memorial Day, a day designated to commemorate
the men and women who died while in the military service.
We lift up to the Lord the souls of each of these men and women. We also thank Him, and them, for their sacrifice.
Your silent tents of green
We deck with fragrant flowers;
Yours has the suffering been,
The memory shall be ours.
– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
