A New England public servant servant recently died in the line of duty, a reminder of the hazards and stresses faced by the members of the region’s public safety services.
Firefighter Ricardo Torres, Jr., 30, a just shy of two year veteran of the New Haven, CT, Fire Department, died as a result of firefighting operations at a two-alarm residential fire at 190 Valley Street on Wednesday, 12 May. May he rest in peace.
