The month of June has been designated as National Safety Month, an annual observance designed to increase awareness of leading causes of preventable injuries and deaths and to encourage safe behaviors. This year’s theme is “Stay Safe for Life.”
The individual weekly themes for this year’s observance are:
- Week 1: Stand Ready to Respond,
- Week 2: Be Healthy,
- Week 3: Watch Out for Dangers, and
- Week 4: Share Roads Safely.
