An eight-alarm fire destroyed the former Alice Mills, a four-story brick mill complex at 85 Fairmount Street in Woonsocket, RI, on Tuesday, 7 June.
The Woonsocket Fire Department was assisted by companies from Burrillville, Central Falls, Cumberland, East Providence, Lincoln, North Providence, North Smithfield, Pawtucket, Providence, and Smithfield,RI, as well as from Bellingham, Blackstone, Franklin, Millville, and North Attleborough, MA (among others).
