Throughout New England, there are a number of fire museums that offer a look into the history of the fire service in a local community, a state, or beyond.
One such museum is the Hose 5 Fire Museum, located in a former fire station at 247 State Street, Bangor, Maine. Its exhibits include a 1930 McCann pumper, a 1917 Garford pumper, and 1946 Jeep forestry unit.
