The vocal ensemble, Blue Heron, will be presenting two performances of "Christmas in Medieval England" on Friday and Saturday, 16 and 17 December. The concerts will be held at First Church in Cambridge, Congregational, 11 Garden Street, Cambridge, MA, beginning at 8:00 PM. Tickets prices range up to $50.00.
"Christmas in Medieval England" is designed to be a festive program of carols, motets, and plainchant for Advent and Christmas from 15th-century England. It includes music by Leonel Power and John Dunstaple, as well as works from the Old Hall manuscript and the anonymous Missa Veterem hominem.
