CDC: Preparing for Disaster or Emergency Food and Water Needs

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently issued a reminder that some kinds of foods are better than others for emergency food supplies.

CDC advises that one follow these steps to ensure having enough safe food and water (for drinking, cooking, bathing, etc.) available in the event of a disaster or emergency:
