Public Works Line of Duty Death

A New England public works servant recently died in the line of duty, a reminder of the hazards and stresses faced by the members of the region's municipal services.

Marcos "Tony" Antonio Ruiz, 52, a High Motor Equipment Operator of the Lawrence, MA, Department of Public Works (for approximately twenty years), died while performing road work.

May he rest in peace.
