"'Why do you seek the living one among the dead?' (Lk 24:5)
"These iconic words of the angels to the pious women who went to the
tomb on Easter morn summarize the core of our Easter faith, that Jesus
is the 'Living One.' On Easter Day and throughout the Easter Season we
continue to proclaim our firm belief that Jesus is alive. That
proclamation, though, leads to another important question. If Jesus is
alive, where does he live? And the truth is that Jesus lives in many
places, in many ways."
In a recent commentary, Bishop Thomas J. Tobin, of the Diocese of Providence
(RI), reflected on where Jesus lives, including in heaven, in His Church.in Christian families, and in those who suffer in any way.
