Two New England public servant servants recently died in the line of duty, a reminder of the hazards and stresses faced by the members of the region's public safety services.
Officer Alex Hamzy, 34, an eight year veteran of the Bristol, CT, Police Department, and Sergeant Dustin DeMonte, a ten year veteran of the Department, died after they were shot when they responded to a reported domestic disturbance.
