"Years ago, I heard someone propose a new Marian devotion: Our Lady, Tier of Knots. Surprisingly, there is more to this proposal than a mere play on the traditional devotion to Our Lady, Untier of Knots. We should indeed do well to ask our Blessed Mother for help untying the problems in our lives. And yet we may consider an entirely different kind of knot, one that we should do well to have more of in our lives - commitment.
