The month of February is being observed American Heart Month. This year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (DHDSP) is focusing on expanding the reach of the Million Hearts® and CDC Foundation's "Live to the Beat" campaign, which is designed to focus on encouraging and empowering Black adults ages 35 to 54 to take small steps to reduce their risks for cardiovascular disease (CVD).
