April is being observed as National Distracted Driving Prevention Month. It is designed as a time to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving, whatever be the source of distraction that takes away the attention of the driver from his/her focus on driving. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). 3,308 people were killed by distracted driving in 2022.
