There is a disc golf tournament this weekend in Southington, CT. The event sanctioned by the New England Flying Disc Association and by the Professional Disc Golf Association.
Disc golf is played in a manner similar to regular golf. However, instead of using clubs and balls, players use s flying plastic disc, and the equivalent of a golf hole is a basket like target. As in golf, a player tries to complete the course using as few strokes (or throws) as possible.
