One of the wonderful resources we have here in New England is water – whether it be in the natural state (lakes, ponds, rivers, brooks, wetlands, etc.) or being used by people for drinking, cooking, cleaning, manufacturing, or in other ways.
There are many people in this region who are concerned about the conservation and protection of our water resources. A number of these concerned citizens and organizations work together through the New England Water Environment Association, which strives to protect and enhance the region’s water environment.
