An Initiative to Conserve Vermont’s Privately Held Forest Land

There is a nonprofit organization in Vermont, Vermont Coverts: Woodlands for Wildlife, that is working quietly to encourage private landowners of forest land to protect the land from development and manage it for hunting, timber, and biodiversity.
