Professional Baseball in New England

Opening Day is almost upon us, and baseball fans throughout the region are preparing for a new season – a time of exuberance and a time of hope.

There are a number of professional baseball teams throughout the region, including the our region’s representative in the major leagues – the Boston Red Sox – and a number of minor league teams in different classes. These teams include:
