New England is the home of a number of beautiful cathedrals, the cathedrae of the various Roman Catholic dioceses located in this region.
One of these cathedrals is Cathedral of Saint Paul in Worcester, Massachusetts, seat of the Diocese of Worcester. The parish was founded in 1866, and construction of the church building was begun in 1868. It became the cathedral for the new Diocese of Worcester in 1950.
