Reflection Starter from Father Robert, O.P.

“You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” (Psalm 16:11)

"Most of the time, we feel part of the earth and are weighed down by life. The scriptures call us to lift up our hearts, to think of God and the blessings we experience. God wants us to be filled with joy and to find delight in His presence in our life. In our prayers, in our worship, would it not be wonderful if we could rejoice in our praise of God by feeling the exuberance the holy scriptures describes; praying, singing, celebrating as we express our delight in His presence. May our joy increase as we increase our awareness of living in God’s holy presence." - Father Robert, O.P. (from a recent Daily Inspiration from the Dominican Shrine of Saint Jude Thaddeus, Chicago, IL)
