World Day of Prayer for Vocations

Today, Good Shepherd Sunday, the Church observes World Day of Prayer for Vocations. This day is a time to focus on the importance of vocations in the life and mission of the Church, as well as for intensifying our prayer that these vocations may increase in number and quality.

Pope Paul VI instituted the World Day of Prayer for Vocations in 1964.
