This week, the week of 23-29 June, is being observed as National
Mosquito Control Awareness Week. This observance is designed to to
educate the public about the significance of mosquitoes in their daily
lives (including the dangers of mosquito-borne illnesses) and the
service provides by mosquito control workers throughout the nation.
