In one of his commentaries, Monsignor Charles Pope (pastor of Holy Comforter-Saint Cyprian Parish,
Washington, DC) reminds us that things are sometimes not as they initially appear and that our eyes are easily deceived (which can lead to rash judgments). He reminds us to "consider the need for deliberation and a patient spirit until all or most of the facts are in."
