Saint Michael's Cathedral, Springfield, Massachusetts

New England is the home of a number of beautiful cathedrals, the cathedrae of the various Roman Catholic dioceses located in this region.

One of these cathedrals is Saint Michael's Cathedral in Springfield, Massachusetts, seat of the Diocese of Springfield. The parish was founded in 1860, and the construction of the church building was begun that same year.
