This year Cape Cod National Seashore (one of New England's treasures) celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. This national park includes nearly 40 miles of shoreline along the eastern edge of Cape Cod (facing the Atlantic Ocean). It is located in the towns of Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, Eastham, Orleans, and Chatham, Massachusetts.
