This week, the week of 13-19 October, is being observed as
International Infection Prevention Week, an observance designed to
stress the importance of infection prevention and actions the healthcare
community (including EMS provides) can take to improve patient safety.
The 2019 theme is "Spread the Word Not the Germs."
